About Me
I am
the founder and president of Green Bean Solutions. I am
a progressive thinker who,
over the past 19 years,
has excelled at identifying new ways
to decrease expense and create positive cash flow for companies. I
have experience in
most
facets of accounting,
financial management,
inventory, and supply chain management. I have worked
in for-profit,
non-profit, and not-for-profit firms.
As
an accountant, I have worked my way up from
an entry level
staff
accountant
to
a plant
controller for a manufacturing company in a highly
specialized industry.
I was with this company while it
transitioned from
a small
startup
which
was sold
to
mid-size private
international
conglomerate, IPO, and eventual resale
to a large public conglomerate.
My contributions managed to save this company
more than $1MM
over a 2 year period. In
addition, I have worked as an audit consultant for credit unions
with assets ranging between $150M-2500MM,
large manufacturers such as Tech Data, and
other
small non-profits.
I have experience in both
domestic
and
international
accounting, enterprise
system conversions, currency
exchange
and planning, cost-accounting, budget preparation
for large
broadly held companies, general accounting,
supply chain analysis and planning,
financial reporting
and analysis. In
addition, I am versed in all Microsoft office products and I enjoy
using these tools to find new ways to increase visibility,
flexibility, and automation in the workplace.
